Non-Customers Access Our Tech Support At Their Location or By Remote Control

How does our Help Desk services work for any individual needing technical support for their computer?

We can help anyone who requires computer technical support. However, It will depend on if it is covered by help desk services. (Note: Our current contracted customers are covered and this article does not apply to them). We can provide Help Desk support services to your business employees or residential customers who are new to us. You may be a small business that has no Information Technology support staff or you are a customer who just has a computer but no one to call for help.

When you call us for support, we will gather information about your issue and we will inform you if we can in fact support you or not with your computer issue. We provide a list of computer services that we can support by remote control. We have two ways we can provide technical support to you. The first option is On site technical support by appointment only (You must be located in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area for this type of support). and the second option is by online remote control to your computer with your permission speaking to you over the phone at the same time.

On sight Technical Support: If you are in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, we can travel to your location for your computer support. (Please note: There are exceptions due to COVID).Our on site service rate is $125/hour and payment is handled directly after the service is completed at the customer’s location. Online remote control technical support: if we can support your issue, we will create a support account for you. Then you can use your new support account to open new ticket request or keep track of your computer support request with us. We will issue you a support ticket number and then with that number, we request payment for a one hour or less session by remote control to your computer for a cost of $125 up to the first hour. The rate is the same even if we resolve it in less than an hour. The rate over an hour is prorated by each quarter of an hour of time working to resolve our issue. We will work with you while on the phone with remote control on your computer.

Before we start our support session, we will direct you where to pay online for our services, Once we confirm payment is received, we will send you a link or provide a link by email for you to download our remote control agent. By using this agent, you allow us to connect to our computer to provide remote control technical support. You do not need to install in on your computer. You just double click it on your computer to run it. You will provide the password provided to our tech over the phone with you, and we will connect to assist you by remote control to troubleshoot your issue.

After we have resolved you issue, you can delete the remote control agent from your computer or save if for your next call to us for remote technical support.

Since we can opened a new support account with you, you will then have the ability to create new technical support request online with your new account. Once, we receive your new online ticket request, your support ticket number will be assigned to one of our technical support technicians. Our technicians will gather and review your request and he or she will email you or phone you to connect to your computer by remote control to resolve your issue. Payment will again be required before we can start assisting you.

Keep in mind, you may not have any business services with us when request support from us but we support certain technologies over the phone by remote control to your computer such as Windows operating system or some over teh counter software. Our help desk support is for computer technical support that you may be requiring that you may not be able to resolve on your own. All customers coming to us for technical support except for our contracted customers must pay for services online prior to receiving technical support.
