LEGACY CHURCH
August 1, 2023: Latest STATUS: Casacda.org email move to Legacy Email.
Legacy.email Church users have been reverted back to login to their Legacy email by using their Casacda email address again but only to login to get their Legacy emails. Legacy emails continue to work to those converted to Legacy.

August 1, 2023: Mobile phone App information when setting up their Legacy.email on their mobile phone for any mobile app, use information below:
The server name for legacy email for now is: mail01.casacda.org
Domain: casacda.org
Username: your casacda.org email
Your email address. Your LEGACY.email address.

August 2, 2023: Legacy user access to the CLOUD P drive information.
Most Legacy users will login with their old casacda email to login to the Cloud P drive for Legacy files. This login will also change in the month of Sepltember 2023 where the login will change to the user’s legacy email address. New legacy users on board since July 2023 will start using their legacy emails today to login Cloud P drive since these Legacy users never had casacda email addresses. These users will receive their login information from Maybell.

Legacy Mobile Phone Apps concerning Legacy.email: Please note. The OUTLOOK APP is a free app and is looked at as is. The Outlook app has a known issue when a legacy.email user logs into their email on their mobile phone with the Outlook Phone app using their username that is their Legacy username-email address to login, this breaks the Outlook phone app on a user’s phone that had the casacda.org username and can no longer connect. This is because the session is active in its cache of the original casacda username and password and when the session breaks from the server, the Outlook App continues to look for the old username and password after inputting the new legacy username.
Outlook App Support Team says to get the Outlook App to work again, (1) You can clear the cache for the Outlook App in Apps/Storage section of your phone settings. (2) You should uninstall the Outlook App from your Android phone and reinstall it and setup your Legacy emails again on the Outlook App. The risk is you may lose any other emails setup within the Outlook App that you may have added along with Legacy.emails. or you have to add all those email accounts again. So be careful, you could lose any other email settings on the Outlook app. You will NOT lose your other emails itself at the main email provider you use. We have some casacda users that this did not work for them but did work for others.
(Legacy) mobile phone users: Did you know the GMAIL app on your phone does the same thing that the OUTLOOK APP does on your mobile phone to connect to your Legacy email? Try it out.
We tested the built in GMAIL app on Android phones and it works with your Legacy.Email setup on your mobile phones. If you are an Iphones, youj can use the built -in email app already installed on the iphone or you can download the GMAIL App unto your iphone from the Apple store and add your Legacy.email account to this app. The Mobile GMAIL app is free. Just use the Exchange/365 setup when adding your Legacy email account and follow the wizard.

07/15/23 (Legacy) Planning Center keeps locking their accounts:
We have been working with planning center support. We have replaced our current spam appliance with a newer updated SPAM Appliance that now allows Planning center emails into Legacy emails with lower blocks on planning center. The previous spam server is a strong spam server but was weak with grey emails. Planning center should now have fewer blocking on the planning center program side.
(Legacy) What about having just a legacy email server with legacy webmail:
We are building that server in our cloud and it should be done by late August 2023.
